The lemurs care for this egg and the young creature born from it, which they call Aladar. Nobita finds a fossilized dinosaur egg by accident, and with the help of Doraemon's tools, they hatched the egg and began raising the dinosaur. All together they are trying to reach the nesting grounds, but it's not going to be easy. Knowing that they can't keep the dinosaur forever, Nobita was forced to send it back to prehistoric times where a group of hunters from the future threatens to endanger the dinosaurs. Determined to save the dinosaurs from the claws of the hunters, Doraemon and the gang returns to the past and sets out in a prehistoric adventure. The leader of the pack of massive animals, Kron, takes issue with Aladar's approach and conflict between the two of them is inevitable. Navigating the politics of the group and many sub-groups becomes a daunting affair for the family. The goal of the entire group is simply survival, and the adventure the characters undertake ends up being a lot more than they bargained for.
